Legendary Thrill Seekers

These are photos of Rob and Farah on their Asian holiday. It was their first anniversary Jan 2010.
I've used Crate papers and lots of bits'n pieces from my stash. I've used the sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches . Here is the challenge:
.

I also entered it in another freaking scrappy challenge ... as the theme was holidays.

Thanks for looking

Birthday Card

I scrap lifted this card from Kim at http://www.shopellesstudio.com/elles-studio-inspiration.php hope she doesn't mind. A friend was celebrating her 60th (how scary is that!) and she is about to have a holiday in Paris so a little touch of Paris seemed appropriate.

Cousins

Another challenge from "Lets Capture These Sketches"

I chose some photos taken Christmas Day 2003. It was good to have all the Meldrum kids together and it was Hiromi's first family Christmas.

I used a rosemoka paper (appel de la nature) loved the paint splatter look, BG urban prarie, Kaisercraft die cuts and flowers and buttons from Greatest View.

 Thanks for looking.

Ironman

This is the new Get Picky Sketch.

And this is my take on it using Rusty Pickle (Trica's Beach Towel) very appropriate for the photos.
Just love the one of James striding up the beach with his chest puffed out. A long time ago 1979 we had a lovely holiday at Ettalong  just after Robert was born. A colourful LO for happy sunny memories.

And while I had the papers out I used this one Rusty Pickle (Cindy's Paradise) to make a wedding card for my girlfriends daughter - the wedding is in Fiji.

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my creations as much as I enjoyed making them.

Stucksketches Challenge

Decided to have a go at Stucksketches challenge.

I have been having lots of fun using Serendipty Blue boutique papers. I also used some buttons from Greatest View. As this LO was about celebrating with my husband on Australia Day I also included an Australian flag tattoo.

These are two more LO's I did using the papers the photos were taken in 1982! I'm just loving scrapping photos of the kids when they were so young.

I think I 'm getting better at layering and clustering.

Bride To Be

Just loved the colours in the Get Picky challenge 17 that I had to do another LO. The lovely photo frame I found in Big W, papers from Basic grey, Karen foster & College Press.

Sheer Bliss

This is my effort for the Get Picky Inspiration Challenge 17. Just loved the colours and the pic reminded me of a bride.

I've used basic grey (urban prairie) and collage press (margot) papers. The satin flowers and pearls were used in my daughters hair at her deb ball (1997!) knew I had kept them for a reason.

Daddy Look at my boat

This was James 3rd Christmas he was so excited about getting a boat. But then James was never disappointed he was always happy no matter what he got for Christmas and he hasn't changed to this day!

I'm trying hard to include more detail on my LO's. On the tag I've used a Kaiser brad and a mini doily and banner from Greatest View

This was how the morning started.

More goodies from Greatest View ! Sorry about the reflection on the definitions button.
